The model - this is one of two Mercedes-Benz O305 models announced on 4th January 2019 and released on 16th January. The other carries 'Red A' all-over advertising  (CR188002).

The bus - a batch of 40 production models were delivered to Kowloon Motor Bus in 1985. This batch followed the successful trials of ME1, registered in 1983.
