This
survey took place between 16th and 25th January 2026. I would
like
to thank everyone who took the time to participate and especially for
all your comments, observations and suggestions.
As detailed
below, one-hundred
and three visitors took part, and the charts
below give a quick overview of the information provided. A summary of the responses that cannot be translated into chart format is included below these tables.
Here is a summary of the questions/suggestions that cannot be translated into chart form along with my observations.
Several
visitors, who primarily use their mobile phone/device to view the
website, have suggested that the site is made more mobile friendly.
Whilst agreeing that the size of the text on a mobile phone is
not great, to make the site mobile friendly would necessitate
rebuilding the site completely from scratch. Clearly, this would be a huge task;
however, what did surprise me was that over 73% of visitors who viewed
the site using a mobile phone/tablet gave a score of eight or more for
the site's appearance. Eighty-four
visitors had no dislikes and of those that mentioned dislikes,
eight referred to the mobile phone issue (small text/tables) and
the out-dated appearance of the site.
For suggestions or improvements, forty-four visitors felt that no
change was needed, while twenty-six did not make any suggestions (almost 70% of visitors).
Whilst several commented that the site's appearance was rather dated,
which I can fully understand, unfortunately, I do not have the skills, the software or the
time to give it a makeover! Having said that, if you think you can help in this respect, please do e-mail me.
Five
visitors suggested that 1/120 scale
models should be included. Whilst I can understand the increasing
popularity of these smaller scale models, I do not collect them and for
this reason I do not have the same drive to include them as I do for
1/76 scale models. An increased amount of time would also be required
to create a database of models already released. As a result, I regret
that I will not be looking to include 1/120 scale models. The reason
why I continue to update (as best I can) the Tiny 1/110 scale models is
the fact I included these from when they were first issued. I am,
however, struggling to keep abreast of new releases as many do not
appear on the Tiny website. Over
57% of visitors have been visiting site for over 15 years and I would
like to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support.
