The model - This model was an unexpected release, issued on 4th January 2002, and whilst being a Drumwell casting, it's release has been through Model Bus Evolution. It is commissioned by China Paint, and the model carries an appropriate "rear-end" ad. It features on board tv screens, with the Roadshow decal in the front nearside windscreen.

There are two certificates attached with the model package. Whilst the English one shows the quantity issued, the Chinese reads as follows:

1/76 Citybus Volvo Super Olympian model - from China Paint

The rest of the note basically teaches the collectors how to open and close the engine cover at the rear without causing any damage.

The bus - a totally fictitious model, as Citybus have no Volvo Super Olympians. The model carries the fleet number 410, this being a 12-metre Volvo Olympian, which is pictured at the bottom of the page.

I am very grateful to Dennis Law for providing the majority of the above information.
