| The model
- Kowloon Motor Bus celebrated its 80th anniversary on 13th April 2013,
and the day before AVBWU54 was noted carrying this 1949 style livery.
This is one of eight buses decorated with 80th anniversary liveries and
models are expected of most, if not all. Appropriately this is the
first model issued, being released on 15th September 2013.
The bus -
AVBWU54 is
one of two-hundred and ninety Volvo B9TLs with Wrights Gemini
2
bodywork which
entered service between April 2010 and May 2012 being registered on
28th February 2011.
