The model - Kowloon Motor Bus celebrated its 80th anniversary on 13th April 2013,  This is one of eight buses decorated with 80th anniversary liveries and is the third model to be issued, being released on 27th September 2013 along with DW10515. This model is described as 'AEC Regent V three yellow bands' livery. 

The bus - AVBWU253 is one of two-hundred and ninety Volvo B9TLs with Wrights Gemini 2 bodywork which entered service between April 2010 and May 2012, being first registered on 24th April 2012.
