The model - Kowloon Motor Bus celebrated its 80th anniversary on 13th April 2013 and this is one of eight buses decorated with special liveries. This livery is that which was applied to the unique Volvo B10MD, fleet no. VMD1 when it was delivered in 1984. The model was issued in Hong Kong on 30th November 2013.

The bus - AVBWU200 is one of two-hundred and ninety Volvo B9TLs with Wrights Gemini 2 bodywork which entered service between April 2010 and May 2012, being first registered on 1st September 2011.
