The model
- this is one of a number of 12-metre Citybus Volvo Olympians released
by Model 1 during the summer of 2017.
The bus
- This model has brown tinted windows and 2+2 seats
with grey felt seat covers with orange and blue stripes. This is an
early (circa 1997) specification for Citybus' Volvo Olympians. At that
time, Citybus was competing with CMB on Hong Kong island and competing
with KMB in the Northwest. In order to compete more effectively with the
semi-air conditioned fleets of CMB and KMB, Citybus had equipped its
buses for comfort. Most of these buses have subsequently been "updated"
with more common plastic seats and had their overhead luggage racks removed.
