- this is one of two 11-metre Volvo Olympians released by Model
1 on 30th August 2024. The other features VA13 (63524) on route A2 to the Airport. My thanks to Dickson Tsang Wai Lok for sending me photographs of his model.
The bus
- The
VA class totalled 64 buses. The first batch of thirty were delivered
between September 1994 and January 1995. A second batch of twenty
(VA31-50) were delivered between June and August 1996 with the final
batch of fourteen (VA51-64) arriving in early 1998. VA12 was first
registered on 7th November 1994.
