312 Models have announced a new model featuring an East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominator of China Motor Bus. This is the 33ft version, of which Fleet No DD1 was unique. I am assuming that this is a resin model.

Following Wednesday's news, I am pleased to be able to publish photographs of the two forthcoming Leyland Olympians from Creative Master Northcord. Please note that these are pre-production samples.

hkbus-2003

I am now on holiday until Sunday 22nd February, so there will be no updates to the site during this time,
but please continue to send me any news or photos you may have.

The first glimpses of Creative Master Northcord's next two 11-metre Leyland Olympians are shown on the Concorde Model Shop website today. One is the Megabus.com liveried example ( hkbus-2002 ) which is shown operating route the Dundee-Perth-Glasgow  service. The second features Citybus No 108 in cross-border livery, which features a red skirt and a swirling text, which reads 'All cross border coaches      better than ever' divided by a Chinese/Union flag. A photograph of the actual vehicle carrying this promotional livery is featured in Danny Chan's 'Hong Kong Bus Handbook - Part 2 - Citybus'. My thanks to Norris Law for informing me of the development.

I have received an unconfirmed report that KMB are to issue a second Wrightbus model, this time featuring AVW3.

New photographs of the real Citybus and KMB 'Year of the Monkey' vehicles have been added to the Xtra  section of the site.

11th February 2004

A new page has been added to the Xtra  section of the site featuring the actual KMB 'Year of the Monkey' Olympian.

I am advised by Car Model Box that owing to further improvements to the mould of TC1, the model is now expected to be released in February/March.
