is Softrepublic's new book entitled 'Illustrated Guide to Public
Transport
of Hong Kong'. As you would expect it covers buses, plbs, taxis,
railways
and ferries. It consists of 160 pages and retails for HK$98. Please
note
it is written in Chinese.

Another new
name, Toys Model, is to release
this resin 1/76th scale KMB Dennis Jubilant Fleet No N4 (176001).
On route no. 7B to Hung Hom Ferry, it is limited to 180 pieces and will
retail for HK$378. A new page and further photographs will be added
shortly.
Following closely on the heels of the recent release of the Guangzhou model from Mei Yi is this new DVD from independent transport videos. Entitled 'The Buses and Trolleybuses of Guangzhou' this DVD was made during a visit to the city in November 2006. 14th

I am reliably informed that a second version of the Guangzhou bus model (GZBUS4002) will be released at the end of May. It will feature a different seating layout than GZBUS4001. It is believed that Mei Yi have will produce four different seating layouts for this casting. I am also informed that a second single-deck casting is likely for release at the end of the year. 5th April

As reported
recently on the Oriental Model
Buses Yahoo Group, a new brand manufacturer with the name of Mei Yi has
released a 1/76 scale model of a Guangzhou bus (GZBUS4001).
It was released in China on 28th March and in Hong Kong on 1st April.
Limited
to 1,200 pieces it retails for HK$ 3rd April
