Pictured above is New World First Bus Enviro 500 No. 5504, on a bus enthusiasts tour in Sydney. My thanks to Stephen Cho for such a superb photo ....  and for sharing it!  Further photographs can be found in the Xtra section of the site - choose 'Other Items'.

My thanks to Phil Allcorn for contacting me about the plain green Peak Horse tram featured in Fridays' News. He believes this is in fact product code 11102, and the tram I had previously recorded as 11102, that featuring a similar green livery but with Hongkong Tramways lettering in gold, was a later special issue of this model. Any further information/clarification would be most welcome.

buses:

ATR54 - HX7649 ATR195 - JM8323 ATR358 - HR8939 ATS36 - JK6249
ATE180 - LN5481 AVW55 - LP771 3ASV49 - JG5355 3ASV311 - KK2883
3ASV140 - JZ5727 3ASV263 - KH3743

It is believed that at least 8 of the buses will end up as total losses. Further photographs will be added shortly.

and finally.......

I am advised by Mike Davis, author of the superb series of 'Hong Kong Buses' books that he is about to issue a limited run digital reprint of his 1995 book, 'Hong Kong Buses Volume Two - Kowloon Motor Bus Co.'

It will be a soft cover version with as many of the original typos edited as possible. Please note that it is NOT an updated edition.

Published by DTS Publishing, it will retail for £29.95, an increase on the original price reflecting the limited run and digital process, the latter being more expensive than conventional printing methods. Anyone ordering will be asked to allow up to 21-days for delivery. More details will follow.
