The Kowloon Motor Bus Daimler 'A' from Cars Workshop (38206) is set for release on 3rd April. Interestingly, this model comes with seated passengers. The model features 4962 on route 6 running between Star Ferry and Lai Chi Kok. Further photographs will be added shortly. The model will retail for HK$348.
I have tonight received confirmation from 80M Bus Model Shop that the unique Kowloon Motor Bus Leyland Victory Mk2, fleet no G544, is to be modelled by Drumwell (DW10901). The model appears to represent G544 in its latter life, with the air-conditioning removed and carrying standard non air-con livery. It will be limited to 1,800 pieces - no release date is yet known.
My thanks once again to Garry Luck for allowing me to use another of his 'what might have been images', this time a Kowloon Motor Bus Bristol VRT/ECW. A larger image can be found by following the above link whilst some other interesting vehicles, can be found on Garry's Fotopic site, just follow this link - Northern Blue Transport Images . 31st

Currently the
subject of an online Hong
Kong auction is a Kowloon Motor Bus 12 metre Volvo Super

been
presented as a gift when purchasing a Daikin air-conditioner about 3 or
4 years ago. The model is on route 690 to Central Exchange Square and
carries
the registration LR8388. No KMB logos are carried.
If anyone can provide further details on this model, or photographs, please e-mail me.

My thanks to
Tony Price for providing the
following statement:-
"During the course of this weekend the domain names and titles of the WWMB Web site and Fotopic site will change. The Web site will become The Model Bus Website, and the new web address will be www.themodelbus.com The Fotopic site will become The Model Bus Gallery (the name it has already carried for a couple of years), and the new web address will be http://www.themodelbus.fotopic.net/. In due course, the old Web site address will automatically forward visitors to the new to allow a smooth transition, and the old Fotopic address will remain available for a while yet. Please adjust your 'Favourites' / 'Bookmarks' to reflect these changes. The style, content and structure of both sites will retain their familiarity on screen. It may take up to 48 hours for the changes to be comprehensively implemented. Hopefully the shorter, more memorable, Web addresses will reflect more accurately the content of the pages available for viewing." 21st
