Following its first sighting at Heysham Docks in the UK (see News item 11th July 2010), the Kowloon Motor Bus two-axle Volvo B9TL arrived in Hong Kong last weekend. It is still under the custody of Volvo Hong Kong for testing and mechanical adjustment in order to fulfil the requirements of the Transportation Department and is not expected to join the KMB fleet yet. Meanwhile the Citybus example is likely soon to undergo a tilt test before vehicle registration in early September. My thanks to Anthony for providing the above photograph and information. 25th
