More real bus news dominates today's update (perhaps the site's name should be changed to just Oriental Buses!). My thanks to CK Chow for sending me photographs of preserved Kowloon Motor Bus AEC Regent Mk V fleet no. A19 (AD4807) at Ocean Park. The bus was driven by KMB mechanics from Kowloon Bay Depot to Ocean Park today, (the tow truck followed - just in case!) where it will form part of a static display in a new zone entitled 'Old Hong Kong'. Other transport related exhibits in this new zone include tram no. 201 and some rickshaws. The official Ocean Park press release for this new attraction , which is set to open tomorrow (14th March) can be found at this link.
