No less than three Ma Pak Leung liveried Kowloon Motor Bus Enviro500s are set for release in the New Year. They are, from top to bottom :- ATE10 (KY6935) on route

I am grateful to Jacky Ho for sending me a selection of photographs of the two recently released Transmac models. New pages have been added for both the Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes (B05) and the Higer KLQ6115GQ (H09) and these photographs will be added shortly.
The two P & T Model (Diecast) 9.7-metre MCW Metrobuses, (see News 24th December) have now been released. M11 (CZ3920) is on route 606 to Choi Wan (DC1012) whilst M23 (DD364) is on route 66M to Tai Hang (DC1013). New pages will be added as soon as time allows - UPDATE 30th December - Now added and each is limited to 550 pieces. 29th December 2017

Kowloon Motor Bus retired it's very last 10.6metre Duple Metsec Dennis Trident yesterday, ATS25 (JK2480). The bus was noted on route 102 on 24th December 2017.
Yesterday also saw the de-licensing of seven KMB Neoplan Centroliners (AP104/5/6/8//9/12/13) along with one Berkhof bodied MAN 24.310 (AMN21), pictured above back in January 2016.
Meanwhile, New World First Bus has started to retire it's lowheight Duple Metsec bodied Dennis Tridents, with 3310 having already seen its last day of service. My thanks to Bobby Liu for providing the information and photographs for todays update. 28th December 2017

Following the release of the above Bristol in Fok Lei livery back in November (see here), it is confirmed that the two Transmac liveried models mentioned back on 28th November were released on 23rd December - these being a Mercedes/Plaxton Beaver minibus and Higer single-deck bus. Released in Hong Kong today are these two 11.3-metre MTR Bus ADL Enviro500s. Fleet no. 529 (TT8108) (top) is on route K51 to Tai Lam (80841) whilst fleet no. 536 (TW455) (bottom) is on route K52 to Tuen Mun (80842). Each is limited to 900 pieces and further photographs will be added shortly.
It is confirmed that a second Long Win Bus 'facelift' Enviro500 will feature 5503 (UD263) on route A37. This will be limited to 1,100 pieces (KMB-M-2017045). 20th December 2017

have received an unconfirmed report that a second Long Win liveried ADL
'facelift' Enviro500 is planned, this time featuring fleet no. 5514
(UD1670) on route A41 to Sha Tin - Yu Chui Court - see News for 20th December 2017.
Tiny have added a larger resolution image of their proposed 1/43 scale Leyland Victory Mk 2 to their website. It features G36 (CA7949) on route 4A and is expected to retail for HK$855, being available in the 3rd quarter of next year (ATC43064). 18th December 2017

Well, for a change, there is no model news to report today, unless someone tells me otherwise!. A chance therefore to catch up on a couple of recent deliveries and one not so recent! From top to bottom :- Citybus

metre example and was first registered on 5th December

Bus Model Shop are these two 11.3 metre MTR Bus
Enviro500s. The first (top) features fleet no. 529 (TT8108) on
route K51 (80841)
whilst the second features fleet no. 536 (TW455) on route
K52 (80842).
No other details are presently known.

At the three day Toysoul 2017 event (15th-17th Dec), which is being held at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Tiny unveiled not only its 1/43 scale KMB liveried Leyland Victory Mk 2, but also two new bus castings for its 1/110 scale range, namely a Volvo Olympian and Wrights bodied Volvo B9TL. Released today in Hong Kong are these three New Lantao Bus MAN RC2 with Gemilang bodywork, first mentioned in the News update on 14th October. these being pictured above. They feature fleet nos. MN92 on route 23 to Ngong Ping (63291), MN93 on route 11 to Tai O (63292) and MN94 on route 37H to North Lantau Hospital (63293). MN93 and MN64 carry a yellow roof. 14th December 2017

The model features AP134 (KP5016) on route 276A to Sheung Shui (Tai Ping) and is limited to 380 pieces (CR178006). 12th December 2017

Released today in Hong Kong is this 12-metre 'facelift' Enviro500 in Long Win livery. It features 5520 (UD2499) on route A32 to Kwai Chung Estate and it is limited to 1,100 pieces (KMB-M-2017075).
Also released today is Kowloon Motor Bus Leyland Fleetline D921 (BN3007) carrying 'AXE' all-over advertising. It is on route 33A to Tai Kok Tsui Ferry and is limited to 400 pieces (CR178003).
2018 is the Year of the Dog and Citybus and New World First Bus will each release a models of one of their 11.3 metre Wrights Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs.
Model 1 are set to release two Discovery Bay Gemilang bodied MAN A95 - DBAY217 (UW9357) on route DB01R to Discovery Bay Marina Bay (63210) whilst DBAY218 (UX6369) is on route DB03P to Sunny Bay Stn. (63211).
Tiny has announced it is to release a 1/43 scale Leyland Victory Mk 2 next year. 10th December 2017

The two P&T Model (Diecast) 9.7metre MCW Metrobuses in Kowloon Motor Bus livery were released in Hong Kong today. M45 (DE8779) is on route 60M to Tuen Mun (DC1010) whilst M74 (DH508) is on route 68 to Yuen Long (East) (DC1011). Each is limited to 650 pieces. As these are not licensed products, no KMB fleetnames or logos are applied. My thanks to China Model Bus for allowing me to share these photographs.
Photographed last Sunday (3rd December) were these Wrights Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs for Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB), These were assembled in Klang (outskirt city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and were were awaiting shipment, via Westport, Port Klang, to Hong Kong.

On 30th November, KMB began to evaluate its BYD K9R electric bus on Eastern Harbour Tunnel route 603. Pictured above is BDE8 (UW7982), which made it maiden trip on the route and seen here arriving the Central Ferry Piers Terminus after serious traffic congestion in Central, believed to be caused by the preparatory works for the Formula E being held today and tomorrow. 2nd December 2017
