News of new models continues with P&T Model (Diecast) announcing it is soon to release two 9.7metre MCW Metrobuses in the livery of Kowloon Motor Bus. M45 (DE8779) is on route 60M to Tuen Mun (DC1010) whilst M74 (DH508) is on route 68 to Yuen Long (East) (DC1011). Each will be limited to 650 pieces. The photographs show pre-production samples.

These three 11-metre China Motor Bus Volvo Olympians have been announced by Model 1. They feature VA10 on route 300 (63509), VA18 on route 115 (63510) and VA21 on route 780 (63511).

It is confirmed that the open-top Fok Lei liveried Bristol LD6G is limited to 2,000 pieces and that it has been released, although it is unclear how one can be obtained! The Transmac liveried Mercedes/Plaxton Beaver minibus and Higer single-deck bus are yet to be released.

These three 1/76 scale models were on display at an event held this weekend as part of the ongoing events marking the 65th anniversary of Transmac Macau. No further details are known at present.

   
   
Four Buses Model Co. Daimler 'Jumbo' Fleetlines have been released in Hong Kong today. Pictured above are standard liveried LF182 on route 606 to Choi Wan (BLC182606) and LF187 on route 23 to Pokfield Road (BLC187023), whilst the two coach liveried examples are LF218 on route 43X to Wah Kwai Estate (BLC218043) and LF228 on route 73 to Stanley (BLC228073).

And now for something a little older!!  My thanks to Donald Hudson for allowing me to share his excellent photograph of Citybus D2, a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX, taken in July 1981. This was one of six ex-Bournemouth Corporation Fleetlines acquired in 1979 and was originally registered CRU 188C. Of course, sister vehicle D4 was the subject of an EFE model back in 1998 - see 23504.

Released today in Hong Kong are these two China Motor Bus Alexander bodied Leyland Olympians from Model 1. LM2 (63071) is on route 101 to Kwun Tong whilst LM10 (63072) is on route 8 to Siu Sai Wan. Each is limited to 500 pieces.

Top left :- No. 18 features champagne liveried ATSE33 (RV5033) on route 15A to Ping Tin (KMB-M-2017041).
Top right :- No. 19 features 80th anniversary liveried ATSE31 (RV3531) on route 93K to Po Lam (KMB-M-2017063)   
Bottom :-  No. 35 features
80th anniversary liveried ATSE48 (RW5779) on route 2 to Star Ferry (KMB-M-2017064)

Due to be released in Hong Kong tomorrow is this New World First Bus Neoplan Centroliner with all-over advertising for Japan National Tourism Organisation (20066). It features fleet no. 6026 (JX9697) on route 106 to Wong Tai Sin and is limited to 400 pieces.

Set for release in Hong Kong tomorrow is this Hongkong Tramways liveried 12.8 metre 'facelift' Enviro500 (KMB-M-2017051).

This Kowloon Motor Bus Neoplan Centroliner with Satami all-over advertising is the subject of a posting on Facebook by Satami. I believe it offers a free model to the top 10 comments as to why you would like the bus in your collection. The model features AP134 (KP5016) on route 276A to Sheung Shui (Tai Ping). The model is limited to 380 pieces (CR178006).

I thought I would take a look at some of the Citybus 'Cityflyer' liveried models in my collection - just awaiting a 'facelift' example!

Tiny are to release a selection of plain white model buses, as indicated in their updated catalogue. These are in addition to several other new releases, details of which are being been added to the Tiny bus and Tiny tram pages of the site.

Since re-launching the site at the start of October, over 70 new individual model pages have been added as well as updates to the various model lists. I am grateful to those of you who have kindly provided photographs and information, which is much appreciated.

The two 'Weisen U' liveried New World First Bus Volvo Olympians from Model 1 have been released in Hong Kong today. Both feature VA36, one on route 113 to Kennedy Town with a quantity of 438 (63507) and the other (pictured above) is on route 65 to Stanley Market with a quantity of 450 (63508).

Electric buses of differing designs were noted out and about today in Hong Kong - Citybus 1582 is one of three BYD single-deckers with BYD bodywork registered in late 2015 whilst Long Win SE102 is one of four BYDs with Gemilang bodywork, registered earlier this year. My thanks to Keith Wood for providing these excellent photos.

Just announced is this Kowloon Motor Bus 12.8 metre 'facelift' Enviro500. It features 3ATENU55 (UD1910) on route B1 and is limited to 750 pieces (KMB-M-2017073).

Tiny continue to announce and release new 1/110 scale models with the above being just a few. The two 12.8 metre 'facelift' Enviro500s are due soon. Just released is a Citybus Cityflyer liveried version, albeit an unlicensed release and without the Cityflyer logo. The Tiny page continues to be updated and any further information would be appreciated.
