20 Years ago this month - two items of interest

The first release from Collector's Model, The model raised the standard for models at the time by featuring wing mirrors, a driver, open cab door, poseable front wheels, separate wire handrails, detailed soft tyres, wire mesh radiator grille, a bus stop and passengers. The model was released in June 1999.

To reflect the wider range of manufacturer's now included on this site, and also to shorten the lengthy name "Unofficial Site for Corgi Oriental Buses", the site has been renamed "Oriental Model Buses."

The newest bus in the New Lantao fleet is MDR32 (WD3542), one of three Gemilang''facelift' bodied MAN A95s registered by the company on 17th May. These images are 'clickable'.

Following my recent posting regarding Tiny 1/110 scale models, I have decided not to create an individual page for each model, but have updated (or should I say in the process of!) the List page to include an image and other relevant information, which will not only save a fair amount of my time but will also maintain a comprehensive record,
No individual pages have yet been removed, in order that those with an avid interest in these models can record any info before they go

My thanks to all who posted comments on the site's Facebook page and who contacted me by e-mail.
