Captured in the sunshine yesterday is Kowloon Motor Bus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L V6B71 (WF6188) sporting Bruce Lee 80th anniversary livery.

Also captured yesterday, at KMB's Tuen Mun South Depot, is a line-up of of new Long Win Bus 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s and 12.8 metre Kowloon Motor Bus MCV EvoSeti bodied Volvo B8Ls.
Thanks to the efforts of visitors to my site I am able to provide photographs of the above three models recently released - just click on an image. 29th November 2020

Released in Hong Kong today are the above three China Motor Bus Leyland Olympians from Model 1. LA6 (FF3170) is on route 312 (63517) , LA4 (EZ1236) is on route 592 to Causeway Bay (63518) and LA17 (FG9004) is on route 307 to Tai Po Central (63519).
Now available is the Tiny 1/110 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L carrying the special livery marking the 80th anniversary of the birth of Bruce Lee (27th November 1940). It features V6B71 (WF6188) on route 80 to Kwun Tong Ferry and comes in a special presentation box (KMB2020086).
And some 'real' bus news - Citybus Alexander Dennis Enviro500 8203 (PR7978) has been converted to open top. |

divided into these five 'chapters'. Text is predominantly in Chinese.

Continuing the Tiny theme, this 1/110 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L with route 5A branding has recently been released (KMB2020055). It features V6B133 (WM3881) on route 5A with a destination of Kai Tak (Kai Ching Estate). My thanks to Leo Kwok for providing this information along with the photograph..

Acquired today is Buses Yearbook 2021, which includes, among many others, three articles entitled 'Brits Abroad' - the first features Hong Kong, the second Singapore and the third New Zealand. It is available in both soft and hardback.
The champagne liveried Neoplan Centroliner from NP Model (see below), is limited to 228 pieces and I can confirm the product code is NP1021.
Another Tiny 1/110 scale release is this 'Red A' liveried Kowloon Motor Bus Mercedes-Benz O305 featuring ME5 (DF6548) on route 68X to Jordan Road (KMB2020081).
To mark the 80th anniversary of the birth of Bruce Lee (27th November 1940), Kowloon Motor Bus has decorated one of it's Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8Ls in a special yellow livery, and in the foreground is a Tiny model! 23rd November 2020

NP Model has released yet another champagne liveried Neoplan Centroliner, this time representing AP105 (JX5467) on route 59M with a destination of Tuen Mun Pier Head (NP1020) (NP1021). Quantities are not yet known.
The arrival today of a
Trident badge has prompted the above photograph.

Yesterday was the last day of service for the batch of twenty Kowloon Motor Bus Volgren bodied Volvo B10TLs, or Super Olympians, with 3ASV474 operating the final journey, as pictured above. And some snaps from days gone by..............

Just one model of this bus type was issued and this was by Cars Workshop back in July 2006. It featured 3ASV441 (KT4187) on route 98C to Hang Hau North (39501). This model escapes my collection, so if you have a spare one!
Tiny has announced the planned release of this silver plated Leyland Olympian AL136 (FM4502). It is on route 98D.
Also announced is a Wrights Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL with all-over advertising for 'Chocolate Rain'.
This 11.3 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 is destined for MTR. All the above images are 'clickable' with the exception of the Tiny 'Chocolate Rain' model. 12th November 2020

Congratulations to Mark Leung of Canada who was the first to spot the link between the six models below - Mark worked it out on just four images. Citybus 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift Enviro500 no. 6302 (TX6430) appeared in a movie press conference earlier this week at Citybus's West Kowloon Depot and my thanks to KH Chan for the above photographs taken at that event. The film is entitled “The calling of a bus driver” and the background of the story relates to female bus captain and stars Hong Kong singer/songwriter and actress Ivana Wong . The official synopsis reads:- "Just when a middle-aged aspiring bus driver thinks she and her 7-year boyfriend are headed to the altar, she learns that he is involved with another woman. A year later, she receives invitation to their wedding banquet, where she accidentally foils the plan of that woman’s ex-boyfriend to reveal her as a cheater and a swindler. These two jilted lovers decide to join forces and come up with a plan to take revenge on the alleged con woman."
Kowloon Motor Bus registered 18 new buses on Tuesday (3rd) two of which were 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s (E6X142/143) and E6X142 (XA2898) was noted in service yesterday. All these images are 'clickable'. 5th November 2020
