My thanks to both Thomas Chin To Cheung and West Chan for confirming details and providing photographs of Tiny's recently released 1/76th scale Toyota Coaster public light bus.

The product code is ATC65546 and interestingly the rear of the box carries the Cars Workshop logo as well as that for Tiny. A new page and further photographs will be added shortly.

Released yesterday amidst a number of 1/110 models is this Tiny 1/76th scale Toyota Coaster public light bus. It features DC3408 with a destination of Shau Kei Wan. If anyone can provide the product code I would be very grateful - just e-mail me.

Kowloon Motor Bus launched its new BYD B12A single-deckers into service today. BEB1 (XV5838) and BEB2 (XY3143), the first of the type registered to-date, were operating on route 6 between Star Ferry and Lai Chi Kok.

Captured yesterday is this photograph of E6X151 (XY3541), one of the latest batch of 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s, having been registered on 13th April.

Tiny has announced a new 1/43 scale model of a New Lantao Bus liveried Leyland Victory Mk 2, albeit with no company logos, which I assume means it is not a licensed product. It features fleet number LD2 (CC9897) on route 7 to Pui O and is limited to 500 pieces (ATC43195). UPDATE - a new page has now been added - just follow the link.

Gemilang bodied Volvo B9TL AVG2 has received new Hanover destination equipment and was spotted earlier today in Central. The photograph below shows it back in 2019 with its original destination equipment.

My thanks to Alan Wong and Bobby Liu for sending me photographs of Kowloon Motor Bus BYD 12 electric single decker BEB2 which was registered on 12th April and which has been noted undergoing testing these last two days. A new page has just been added to the XTRA section of the site - just click on the above image.

Kowloon Motor Bus has also started to register a new batch of 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s. The first, E6X148 (XY3045), was registered on 13th April along with E6X149/150/151 with E6X152/153/154 being registered the following day (14th).

Pictured above are two 'Superbus' liveried Bravo buses - Citybus 1837, a Youngman single-decker and 8321, a 12-metre ADL Enviro500NG.

My thanks to Robin Bennett for informing me of the above model that he has recently acquired. It appears to be a pre-production example of Collector's Model V102A, which was released as China Motor Bus Leyland Victory Mk 2 (fleet number LV17), however this example features fleet number DS19, which was in fact a Dennis Jubilant! I was very lucky to have been treated to a tour of several sites in the New Territories where buses were either being stored or scrapped! Here is a selection of photographs taken at one of the locations.

Following my posting on 4th April regarding my photographs being used by a UK retailer as well as a private seller on a popular auction site, I am pleased to report that my images have now been removed - the retailer in question co-operating whilst the seller was not so obliging, but has since had both auctions ended by the auction site.

80M Bus Model Shop has today posted details of the two new Kowloon Motor Bus models, mentioned below, on their Facebook page.

Confirmation that the 12 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 model features ATENU1468 (VM6184) on route 1 with a destination of Chuk Yuen Estate and is limited to 950 pieces (KMB2021119).

Meanwhile the 11.3 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 features E6M51 (WV2120) on route 276 with a destination of Sheung Shui and is limited to 850 pieces (KMB2021219).

New pages for both models have now been added.

News of two new 1/76 scale models has been announced by Kowloon Motor Bus. The first features ATENU1468 (VM6184) a 12 metre 'facelift' Enviro500 on route 1 to Chuk Yuen Estate whilst the second features an 11.3 metre 'facelift' Enviro500 on route 276 to Sheung Shui. No other details are presently known.

I have recently discovered several of my photographs being used by a model bus retailer and also by a seller on a popular auction site. The watermark OMB tends to be a giveaway and I find it quite astonishing that when contacting the other party, they consider that photographs on the internet are freely available to use and that they didn't realise they might be copyright!

Noted yesterday undergoing testing and driver training is this Citybus Wisdom electric bus. Full details of this bus were posted in the News dated 12th October 2021.

Real Citybus vehicles dominate today's news update, with Ryusuke Joe Hata capturing this rare shot of both of the company's hybrid double-decker buses side by side.
