Wishing everyone a

I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy New Year and to thank all of you who have contributed over the past year. There are too many of you to mention, but your help has been invaluable in ensuring the site continues to provide the latest model and real bus news.
I have added the following two tables which detail the number of models issued over the past four years, the first table by manufacturer and the second by bus operator. These are correct as of today, 30th December 2024!

yesterday's update on the two Kowloon Motor Bus liveried Neoplan
Centroliners not previously recorded on this site, I am grateful to TY,
who has contacted me providing information not only on these two
models, but also two further previously unrecorded Centroliners. All
four are produced by Model 1 and their details are as follows:- BMCU64M - fleet no AP72 in champagne livery on route 64M to Tin Yiu released 13th October 2022 BMCU59M - fleet no AP108 in champagne livery on route 59M to Tuen Mun Pier Head released 13th October 2022 BMCU104 - fleet no. AP131 in pearlescent green livery on route 101 to Kennedy Town released 15th January 2023 BMCU60X - fleet no. AP132 in pearlescent green livery on route 60X to Jordan (Wui Cheung Road) released 15th January 2023. New pages have just been added although, owing to a lack of time, I have not managed to upload all the photographs. 27th December 2024

A
new page has now been added for the SMRT Buses liveried Mercedes-Benz
Citaro from Masterpiece Collectibles released in Singapore on Christmas
Eve (SG1695B).
As with the two recent releases of this casting, I have, in the absence
of a manufacturers product number, used the registration number as the
model number. I am currently unable to confirm the quantity of this
model, so if you can help, please e-mail
me.

The first features champagne liveried AP72 (JU5808) on route 64M to Tin Yiu whilst the second features pearlescent green liveried AP131 (KC2571) on route 104 to Kennedy Town. The models are, like previous NP Models, unlicensed and carry no product codes or limited edition certificates. I am presently unable to confirm when these models were released, so if you are able to assist, please e-mail me. Released today in Singapore is a further Mercedes-Benz Citaro from Masterpiece Collectibles, this time in SMRT Buses livery. It features SG1695B on route 110 with a destination of Compassvale Int via Airport Boulevard. A new page and further photographs will be added as soon as time allows. I clearly tempted fate by publishing the tables below of the new releases this year, so I will wait until 31st December before re-publishing them!! 24th December 2024

Announced today on the Network Shuttle website is this Year of the Dragon decorated New Lantao Bus MAN RC2. It features MN94 (TT1858) on route 23 to Ngong Ping (63294). A new page has now been added. 23rd December 2024

Tiny has today announced that the above 1/76 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Hino 700 tanker is set for release in July 2025 - the model first appeared in the 2022 Tiny catalogue (KMB20 / KMB2025101). 17th December 2024

Following the news below, Masterpiece Collectibles has today announced a further version of this model, in lush green. This second version is limited to 550 pieces and it is believed it will be available at Singapore Toy Convention (SG ToyCon) 24, which is being held from 13th - 15th December. 8th December 2024

I am grateful to Wafi Ammar for sending me photographs of this 1/76 scale Mercedes-Benz Citaro released yesterday by Masterpiece Collectibles The model carries a plain white livery with '1000th Citaro Celebrations' lettering on both the nearside and offside windows. It features SG1000G with a destination of '1000 CitaroBus' and is limited to 150 pieces. The model carries no product code so I have listed the model by its registration number, SG1000G-W - a new page and further photographs have now been added.
My thanks also to Land Transport Guru for allowing me to share this photograph of the actual bus in full livery.
Citybus are to release two models to celebrate the Year of the Snake in 2025. The first (pictured left) features fleet no. 52101 (WN4213), a 12 metre Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L, which is on route 608 (CM201), whilst the second (pictured right) features fleet no. 63861 (WR4068), a 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500, on route A22 (CM202). Each is limited to 500 pieces. Both of these buses carried Year of the Dragon liveries in 2024. 6th December 2024
