Jotus Model Depot has very kindly offered to provide prizes to the winner of both categories. The prize will be the New World First Bus 'Year of the Monkey' model, when released, the real vehicle being featured in yesterday's News. This year there is also a prizes for 'runners-up', in the form of the QB type 'cute' buses.

As announced on this site on 24th November, the eagerly awaited KMB Wrightbus (DW10501) will be released in Hong Kong tomorrow. Produced by Drumwell, it features AVW1 on route 102 to Mei Foo. It is limited to 3,000 pieces.

A new page for the Hong Kong Transport Society QB 'Cute' model of CMB DMS Fleet No. XF1 has now been added with new photographs. (This page removed 10th February 2010)

A new page has been added for the second Creative Master Northcord Ltd Leyland Olympian coach (hkbus-2002) in Megabus.com livery, due for release in 2004.

Following yesterday's photograph of the two ex KMB 3N class Dennis Dragons, which have been specially painted into a fictitious "HMB" livery. While both of them have got registration number "KG9522", they are actually former DK4862 and DK5416. It is believed that these two buses have been used in film shots by Jacky Chan in one of his latest movies. If anyone can provide any further information on these buses, please e-mail me

Now available in Hong Kong is this QB 'Cute' model of China Motor Bus DMS Fleet No. XF1, specially commission by the Hong Kong Transport Society. Further details and photos will appear shortly.

Released in Hong Kong today is the Citybus Leyland Olympian coach from Creative Master Northcord Ltd. (hkbus-2001). 

Further photographs of the Best Choose Leyland Victory Mk2/Duple Metsec (03061) have now been added, as have further photograph of Corgi's KMB AEC Regent V (OM41108).

Just announced, and pictured above, is this China Motor Bus Leyland Victory Mk2, LV149,(03061) with Duple Metsec bodywork, being produced by Best Choose. Further photographs will appear shortly

Due for release in Hong Kong tomorrow is the Citybus Leyland Olympian from Creative Master Northcord Ltd (hkbus-2001).

Due for release in Hong Kong on Saturday 20th is this Corgi model featuring a KMB AEC Regent V (OM41108), which was originally new to UK operator Yorkshire Woollen District. It is limited to 3,000 pieces. Further photographs will appear tomorrow.

A third version of the Creative Master Northcord Sunwin Volvo B7R (cnbus1003) has been specially commissioned for Shanghai Ba-Shi Industrial (Group) Co. Ltd. Being a totally private commission, no models are available for purchase by model collectors.

The above photograph, taken today at the Hong Kong Bus Rally, shows the forthcoming Creative Master Northcord Ltd (CMNL) Citybus 11 metre Leyland Olympian, Fleet No.133 (hkbus-2001). The photographs are of a pre-production model - it is not the final version. The model is expected to be released before Christmas. Further photographs of this model can be found on on the the relevant page.

The above photograph shows a newly released 'toy', based on NWFB Fleet No. 3006, with a Japanese Cartoon "Hamtaro" Advertisement. The model is 1/76th scale, similar to Corgi's Duple Metsec Trident. The model is produced by Sun Hing Toys Co. Ltd.  Please note that the destination '112 So Uk' has been added. Some further photographs, both of the model and of the real vehicle, will be added shortly.

During this relatively quiet period, I have updated several pages of the site with new photographs and additional information, the latest being that for the ABC Thornycroft Cygnet (000302A).
