Released today in Hong Kong is the 1/43 scale Citybus Alexander Dennis Enviro500NG in the new corporate livery. Produced by Tri-Face, it features fleet no. 51430 (TV5387) on route 2A to Yiu Tung and is limited to 680 pieces (CM198). 24th April

Kowloon Motor Bus registered a further five retro-liveried MCV bodied Volvo B8Ls last week, these being fleet numbers V6B210 and V6B212-V6B215. These have been used mainly on route 269B and my thanks to Grantbus Gallery for allowing me to share photographs of V6B212 (ZZ7343) and V6B213 (ZZ7436). 23rd April

To confirm, the top photograph shows ATE263 (MM2208) on route 30X to Whampoa Garden and this has 2006 decals applied (KMB2025005). of days ago. The 1/76 scale model, from Model 1, features fleet no. 52108 (WP1057), a 12-metre Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L in 'Big C' livery and is on route 170 to Wah Fu (63638/CM204). The 1/43 scale model, from Tri-Face, features fleet no. 51430 (TV5387), a 12-metre ADL Enviro500NG. carrying the new Citybus livery. Today Kowloon
Motor Bus announced twelve new models. two
being at 1/76 scale, two at 1/120 scale and eight at 1/110 scale.
The two 1/76 scale models (pictured above) feature champagne liveried Alexander Dennis Enviro500s. The first (left) is ATE263 (MM2208) on route 30X to Whampoa Garden and this has 2006 decals applied. The second (right) is ATE271 (MM4353) on route 43 to Cheung Hong. No other details are presently known. 10th April 2025

Citybus has announced three new models, in scales of 1/120, 1/76 and 1/43. The 1/76 scale model (left) features fleet no. 52108 (WP1057), a 12-metre Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L in 'Big C' livery and is on route 170 to Wah Fu (63638/CM204). The 1/43 scale model (right), a first for Citybus, features fleet no. 51430 (TV5387), a 12-metre ADL Enviro500NG. carrying the new Citybus livery. It is on route 2A to Yiu Tung (CM198).

released yesterday, have now been added. In the absence of product
numbers, I have used their registration numbers. The first features

and the second

The two 1/43 scale China Motor Bus liveried Leyland Olympians announced back on 26th March have been released in Hong Kong today. The first features LM5 (FW2286), in all-over red livery and on route 94X to Admiralty. It is limited to 350 pieces (CMB14301). The second features LM7 (FW3152), which carries the CMB Hotline livery. It is on route 82 to North Point and is limited to 600 pieces (CMB14302). 6th April 2025

Masterpiece Collectibles are to release the above two Singapore liveried Mercedes-Benz Citaro models on Saturday (5th April). The first features SG1041M on route 51 with a destination of Eunos Link - Hougang Ctrl Int. It is limited to 550 pieces. The second features SG1058R on route 136 to Ang Mo Kio Serangoon Gardens and is limited to 500 pieces. 3rd April 2025

In readiness for the company's 92nd anniversary on 13th April, Kowloon Motor Bus has today, on social media, unveiled a suitably decorated bus, which will initially operate route 6C between Kowloon City Ferry and Mei Foo. The bus is AED2 (ZF7332), an ADL Enviro500EV. 2nd April 2025

20 years ago today I reported news of the release, from Best Choose, of a China Motor Bus Guy Arab Mk V with a diorama of the Shek O Bus Terminus . In addition to creating a new page for the model (02046S), I also created a new page in the XTRA section of the site featuring the bus terminus itself. Whist the model page remains pretty much the same 20 years on, that for the bus terminus has grown somewhat - just click on the above image to see more!! 1st April 2025
