COMING SOON!

I am pleased to be able to report that Roger Bailey's second Hong Kong 1984 book, the cover of which is shown above, is expected to be published shortly. Roger's first book detailed the China Motor Bus fleet in 1984 and was published in August last year.  As soon as I am advised the new book is available, I will provide a further update.

A  bizarre incident in one of KMB's Depot saw 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 3ATENU102 literally 'end up' in a rather embarrassing position!

These two Kowloon Motor Bus trucks appear in Tiny's 2022 catalogue and I believe these are both to 1/76 scale. The images show their respective KMB Box numbers.

Two new 1/76 scale public light buses have been announced by Tiny. The first, a Toyota Coaster, appears in their 2022 catalogue and is described as 'Striking Poppy Candy' (Box 147/ATC65532). The second is a Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa (ATC65550).

I make no apologies for today's update being dominated by 'real' bus news, which I am sure is of interest to the majority of visitors to the site. The above photographs show the arrival of three new Gemilang bodied MAN A95 for Kowloon Motor Bus.
26th January 2022

Further to yesterday's announcement I can confirm that Tiny's 1/76 scale models will continue to be reported upon and listed. Andrew Gilchrist kindly advised that I had missed the release of the above model on 16th January. An enquiry regarding availability was subsequently made to MSD Bus, along with a few smaller scale models, and these arrived today, along with Tiny's 2022 catalogue.

25th January 2022

Further to my recent request for feedback on Tiny's 1/110 scale model buses (see News 18th January), I have decided to cease including updates on any new models and the lists of these models will also be removed. I would like to thank all of you who contacted me to provide comments.

For those who voiced their support for retaining news of these models and the lists, I can confirm that the lists have now been transferred to the following website and news of new releases will also be included - just click on the image below to be taken to the new site.

Today's Tiger !

Bravo have today launched the first of its two 'Year of the Tiger' liveried buses, the first being New World First Bus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L 5230 (WN2615).
The Citybus version is believed to carry the same livery.

With all the recent model news and feedback on the Tiny 1/110 models, my 'Inbox' has suffered rather, for which I apologise. If you have messaged me and have not yet received a response, you will shortly - meanwhile, a break now as it is off to coffee at Poole Quay and then a game of football to watch this afternoon !

YOUR FEEDBACK IS REQUIRED
TINY 1/110 SCALE MODEL BUSES

On the subject of Tiny models, I spend a fair amount of time updating this News page with details of new models as well as including them in the table on the Tiny page.

Two simple questions:-

1). Do you find details of these models useful? YES or NO
2). Do you find the table listing these models useful? YES or NO

Please e-mail me your thoughts - this feedback will determine whether I continue providing updates.
