Masterpiece Collectibles recently announced these six resin Singapore liveried Mercedes-Benz O405 models, which, unfortunately have now SOLD OUT. Liveries offered include both Trans Island and SMRT with variants including original aircon (OAC), non-aircon (NAC) and converted aircon (CAC) while the route numbers/destinations are shown below.

The Sham Shui Po Soccer Fun Day and Car Carnival, hosted by the Home Affairs Office, was held today (November 27) at the Flower Market Park Stadium. Both Citybus and Kowloon Motor Bus classic buses were in attendance as well as new electric buses. Announced today as 'Coming soon' is this Singapore Bus 12.5 metre, 3-door ADL 'facelift' Enviro500. It is confirmed as being 1/76 scale and I hope to be able to provide further details in due course.

A 'double-take' on Kowloon Motor Bus Duple Metsec bodied Dennis Dragon 3N112 carrying all-over advertising for Marlboro. Both are on route 1A, with the actual bus heading for Star Ferry and the model heading for Sau Mau Ping Central. I am grateful to Donald MacRae for allowing me to share his superb photograph, which he posted on social media yesterday. I couldn't resist locating my model of the same vehicle for a comparison shot!! Donald is another long-time contributor to the site, having provided photographs of both models and actual buses for over twenty years, and his photographs are somewhat better than mine!! The model was produced by Best Choose and released back in May 2015 (180104).

Attracting plenty attention from Hong Kong bus enthusiasts is Kowloon Motor Bus MCV EvoSeti bodied Volvo B8L V6X22 (XA3903) carrying all-over advertising for IMXHK (International MotorXpo Hong Kong) which takes place between 8th-11th December. A Tiny 1/110 scale model has already been announced (see the Tiny logo on bus!).

Back to models, and, thanks to West Dan, I can provide further details of the recently released Tiny 1/43 scale Leyland Victory Mk 2 in Kowloon Motor Bus driver training livery. It features CD4318 (formerly G125) and the model has been modified from previous releases with the fitting of additional mirrors, instructor seats and reduced seating on both the lower and upper decks. The model was available to order at 7-Eleven stores back in July. It is limited to 500 pieces (KMB2022102). A new page and further photographs have now been added.

Launched today is this Volvo BZL bus for the Singapore market. It is a fully electric bus with a Neustar City bodywork by local builder SC Auto. My thanks to Cheow Yi Jian for informing me of this news and to Edward Yeo for allowing me to share his photographs taken during the launch. Further details of this CT Bus liveried Scania coach from Model 1 have been received from Thomas Tang, who has kindly allowed me to share his photographs, more of which have been added to the model's page (63902A). The model was commissioned back in early 2019 and was not a general release. This model was the reward following a competition held by the company to celebrate their impending Golden Jubilee.
