I am grateful to Anthony's Bus Homepage for allowing me to share this photograph of two 12.8 metre Kowloon Motor Bus retro liveried ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s, but with Long Win Bus logos!. Both were registered on 24th June, receiving Long Win Bus fleet numbers - UE6X82 (WE5645) is on the left and UE6X83 (WE5243) on the right. These buses had been sat idle in Tuen Mun since late 2023, and further details can be found here. 29th June

The two retro liveried MCV bodied Volvo B8Ls went on sale on the KMB e-shop this morning. When I went to look at the site around 8.00am UK time, the website was down, so I am grateful to Ernest Chang who had managed to access the site earlier, and who provided the two product codes for the models. The top image shows V6B206 (ZX3091) on route 265B with a destination of Tin Shui Wai (Tin Heng) (KMB2025014) whilst the bottom image shows V6B204 (ZX2717) on route 58M with a destination of Kwai Fong Station (KMB2025015). Having accessed the site this afternoon, not surprisingly, both models are showing 'Out of Stock'.
Following on from yesterday's news update, my thanks to Showbus.com for allowing me to share this photograph of Ritchies Volvo B12 fleet number 530, taken in 2008. This is the vehicle represented by the model from B&B (Brilliant) Buses (BB008). 26h June 2025

I
am very grateful to Craig Bell, with whom I exchanged several e-mails
yesterday, for providing further information on the resin
Jonckheere Monaco bodied Volvo B12s that were issued by B&B
(Brilliant) Buses last September.

Firstly, Craig has confirmed the existence of a further example in full Citybus livery, this featuring fleet number 2005. It displays route number 553 and has a destination of Kowloon. I have assumed a product code of BB007 for this model, making the six models with full Citybus livery BB001 - BB006. Previously, I had assumed a product code of BB005 for one of the two plain yellow examples, but I have now revised this assumed number to BB008, making these plain yellow examples BB007 - BB008. The assumed product codes have now been revised to actual product codes - 1st July 2025 Furthermore, Craig pointed out that the photographs I had for a plain white example, which I assumed to be BB009, did in fact feature two different models and further investigations confirm this. I have therefore updated the page for BB009, and confirm that this plain white model carries a registration number of RUI2470. Further investigations reveal that this registration was carried by a Jonckheere Monaco bodied Volvo B12 owned by North East Coach Travel, based in Newcastle, England and thanks to David Green, I am able to provide a photograph of this vehicle taken in 2021.
David's Flickr site includes almost 35,000 transport related photographs and is well worth a look. I have now assumed the second plain white example to be BB008, and again thanks to Craig, realise that this model carries a very small fleet number of 530 on the nearside and offside of the front panel immediately below the windscreen - and so the story continues....... !!

As detailed in the page featuring the actual coaches, which can be found in the XTRA section of the site, 530 was the fleet number allocated by Ritchies, a New Zealand based operator, to one of several examples they acquired from Citybus - and guess what, here is a model of that same vehicle, again thanks to Craig. I have updated the B&B (Brilliant) Buses page, the Volvo B12 page and the Citybus page accordingly but would welcome any further information - just e-mail me. 25th June

Continuing the Toyota Coaster Public Light Bus theme from the last update, pictured above is a model that was released back in May 2021, and one that I somehow missed! My thanks to Robin Bennett for bringing this to my attention. This Toyota Coaster carries 'Line Friends' decals and has a destination of Tsuen Wan - the registration reads 'LINE'. A new page and further photographs have now been added (ATC65155). 21st June
