Jotus.com have confirmed that the second KMB Ford Thames Trader from Hong Kong Model Co. has been released (8132A), this time representing AD4713, on route 2 Star Ferry - So Uk Village.

My thanks to Dennis for sending me photographs of the above two models, not issued for general release. The first features a Cars Workshop Tilling-Stevens K5LA7 (39801W) on route number 1, Star Ferry - Kowloon, which was issued on 14 January with a quantity of just 50 pieces.

The second is Creative Master Northcord Ltd (cnbus0001) a Sunwin Volvo B7R (the actual bus bus is King Long bus & Dong Feng bus, not a Sunwin Volvo) on route K186, Jing Cun Zhan - Qin Chun Lu. Issued in November 2006 and limited to 500 pieces, it is a private commission for Hang Zhou Citizen Card.

Due for release on Sunday 28th January, is this Cars Workshop Volvo B9TL Enviro 500 in a plain white livery (39404). It will retail for HK$268 and is limited to 888 pieces. A new page and further photos will be added late this evening.

The first 'Year of the Pig' liveried model to be released is this Q-type KMB Olympian from Cars Workshop. It retails for HK$46.

Whilst on the subject of the Hong Kong Transport Society Bus Rally, the above photograph, kindly supplied by Tim Sham, shows the latest Qb-bus model issued by the Hong Kong Transport Society during the Rally. It features CMB's DA92, the company's very last air-conditioned Dennis Condor being put into service.

The annual Bus Rally, organised by the Hong Kong Transport Society, was held at Fan Lin yesterday. Thanks to Jotus.com, I have tonight added a new page to the Xtra section of the site featuring further photographs of this event.

Pictured above are the two versions of the recently released resin KMB Duple Dominant bodied Albion Viking EVK55CL - one with a destination that reads 'Training School', the other 'Training Unit'. Both are limited to just 60 pieces each. A new page, with additional photographs, will be added shortly.

Twenty-three of you matched the votes of the overall result, and these names were put into the hat, with Chan Yu Sang being drawn as the winner. He will receive the Drumwell air-con MCW Metrobus, when released from 80M Bus Model Shop.

With only 4 choices, it was not surprising that the votes of 74 of you matched that of the overall result. These names were put into the hat, with Steve Mills of the UK being drawn as the winner. He will receive the Cars Workshop Alexander-Dennis Enviro 500 in all over white livery from 80M Bus Model Shop.

I am grateful to regular contributor Andrew Shirley for advising me that the Concorde Hobby Model website is now advertising another two P&T Albion Viking/Duple coaches, this time in Driver Training/Driving School liveries. It would appear that the quantities are as low as 60 models, and the retails price is HK$488.
