Soon to be released are these two Pixar 'Toy Story' liveried 1/110 scale buses from Tiny. Neither carry any fleet or registrations and both have a destination of Toy Story. The Duple Metsec bodied Dennis Dragon has a product code of ATC65158 whilst the 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 is ATC65159.
Also set for release shortly is this champagne liveried Kowloon Motor Bus ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 ATENU1220 (US1730) on route T277 to Sheung Shui (Box 76 / KMB2021057).
Available for pre-order is this Tiny 1/110 scale Kowloon Motor Bus 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 with 'Heartbeat of the City' decals. The standard version features E6X109 (WU7844) on route 260X to Hung Hom Station (KMB2021131). This features 'opening' windows. The special version features E6X101 (WU3938) on route 118 to Island Resort and this has no 'opening' windows. 28th

Model
1 has displayed early prototypes of two future 1/76 scale models,
namely a Dennis Condor and Leyland Atlantean.
It's a case of 'better late than never' in respect of the above two books, details of which I failed to add at the time of their acquisition. Just click on either image to be taken to the appropriate page. On the left is the original 'Hongkong Tramways' book published back in 1970. An updated version was published back in 2017. On the right is the book 'Australia & New Zealand Double Decker Bus', written by Stephen Cho and published back in 2018. 25th

Tiny are re-releasing the four 1/110 scale Bruce Lee decorated models. These will feature different route numbers/destinations than the first issues and they will come in standard boxes, as opposed to the presentation packaging with the originals.
A recent addition to my tram collection is this WJB 1/90 scale tram with CSL Shop decals, which I was not previously aware of. The same decals were applied to this orange liveried tram which is believed to have been issued in 1987 - see here.

Set for release tomorrow is the above 1/76 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Alexander Dennis Enviro500 featuring ATENU1171 (UJ4187) on route 286X to Hin Keng and limited to 600 pieces (KMB2021083).
Also set for release tomorrow is Tiny's 1/43 scale Leyland Victory Mk 2 featuring G43 (CA8146) on route 82M to Yuen Chau Kok and limited to 800 pieces (KMB2021043).
Unsurprisingly, a model (or even two!) of Kowloon Motor Bus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8Ls carrying 'Proud of You' decals is to be released. Tiny have announced it will release both examples in 1/110 scale - V6B166 (XE651) is on route 270B to Olympic Stadium whilst V6B176 (XE732) is on route 66X (KMB2021129). 21st

My thanks to Tsz Hin Ho for advising that whilst on holiday last week I missed Tiny's announcement that it would be issuing two versions of a Kowloon Motor Bus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L. One will feature V6B162 (XB4584) on route 948 with a destination of Tsing Yi Express (Box 170 / ATC65408-T) whilst the other will feature V6B147 (WT5990) on route 680 to Lee On (Box 170 / ATC 65408-W). The differences between the two models are highlighted in the above image.
Also missed was the release of Tiny's 1/110 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Dennis Trident ATR1 (HJ2127). It is on route to Sau Mau Ping (Central) (Box 127 / KMB2021063). 16th

Tiny has announced it will release a new 1/110 scale casting of a Kowloon Motor Bus Dennis Jubilant. The first two will feature N281 (CP9818) on route 2F to Cheung Sha Wan (Box 151 / KMB2021125) as shown above and the second a similar liveried example but featuring N226 (CN1947) on route 13D to Tai Kok Tsui (Box 151).
Tiny has also just released a Kowloon Motor Bus Leyland Victory Mk 2 with all over advertising for Shell G483 (CW8210) on route 112 to So Uk (KMB2020124) and
here is the real thing!

There
is little news to report as things are fairly quiet on the 1/76th scale
front. Just three releases (four models) were issued during August.
There are currently twenty-five models that have been announced but not
yet released, all of these being from Model 1. The oldest of these are
the three HZM Bus MAN A95, which were first announced last
September.
  The above news was posted 10 years ago today. Ten years on, Long Win Bus today registered five MCV EvoSeti bodied Volvo B8L which saw the use of the letters 'XN' - does anyone know what will happen once this registration system expires? 1st September 2021
